Master Media and Journalism - Specialisation Media, Culture and Society
Information and culture have become more and more abundant in contemporary society, reaching us through well-known mass media, such as newspapers and television but also through new media applications such as the Internet and computer games.
The omnipresence of media in society had led to a growing demand for academically trained media experts, who have a firm grasp of, and who can respond to complex problems and changes in the media sector, as well as to media-related issues in society at large.
The Media, Culture and Society programme aims to turn out such experts. It is specifically intended for internationally oriented bachelors in the social sciences or the arts who aim for a career in the media or cultural industries or who wish to work as policy makers or media experts in government and other organisations.
